Exhibition Details
Paper theatre uses cut-and-pasted sets, paper dolls, and condensed scripts inspired by Victorian-era souvenir kits. This display gathers 25 seasons of miniature theatrical works by UC San Diego students, staff, alumni, and community members.
Opening Reception
A reception on Tuesday, July 14 features works by Scott Paulson '84, Rachel Almodovar, Elizabeth Hines, Carin Wallace, Anastasia Hunter, Christina Continelli, and visiting artist Nancy So Miller.
Pop-Up Performances
If you want a closer look or an informal pop-up performance at the exhibition on a prearranged date, contact curator Scott Paulson at spaulson@ucsd.edu.
The exhibition is free and open to the public. It suits anyone curious about a hands-on blend of craft and storytelling.
