America at 250: Women and American Democracy

As part of the San Diego History Center's America 250 commemoration, this Women's Equality Day program at Balboa Park in San Diego on August 26, 2026 from 6 to 7:30pm examines the role women have played in advancing democratic inclusion. Community leaders, advocates, and civic organizations discuss how women's leadership has widened civic participation and access to opportunity.

Tickets General admission is $35 and member tickets are $25. Registration is required in advance.
