Art Break

Artist India Thompson gives a talk on her exhibition Looks Like Home at the Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park, San Diego on August 7, 2026 at 6pm. Her handwoven sculptures of everyday objects sit with the balance of renting, memory, and domestic life. Thompson shares her weaving techniques and the humor and care that run through her work.

Admission The talk is free with museum admission, and registration is required. Doors open at 5:30pm, so come early to weave a key charm.
