Timken Museum Director of Curatorial Affairs Derrick Cartwright and artist Margaret Noble discuss the summer exhibition Drift at Balboa Park in San Diego on July 13, 2026 from 10 to 11am. Admission is free to $15, and guests get a sneak peek before Drift opens to the public. Drift is Noble's installation of sculpture, sound, and moving images, on view July 15 to September 6, 2026.
About the Work Noble draws on Francois Boucher's 1758 painting Lovers in a Park, reworking its Rococo ideals by adding motion and layered perception.
