(introduction to) Roller Skating at the NEW Rink at Seaport Village and exploring!

This beginner roller skating session takes place Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Ringer's new open-air rink at Seaport Village in downtown San Diego. Registration is $25 and includes rental skates and basic instruction. A signed waiver is required before skating.

The Rink

Ringer's Seaport is an open-air roller rink at 821 West Harbor Drive on the Embarcadero, a second location for the Encanto-based Ringer's Roller Rink. The concrete rink holds up to 50 skaters at a time and looks out over San Diego Bay and the Coronado Bridge. Skate rentals cover all ages, and there is a snack bar on site.

What to Expect

The session covers the basics of balancing, gliding, stopping, and skating safely for first-timers and anyone building confidence. Afterward, there is time to grab dinner and explore Seaport Village.
