Les Misérables School Edition

San Diego Junior Theatre stages a student production of Les Miserables at the Casa del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park, San Diego. The show runs July 24 to August 9, with performances Fridays at 7pm and weekends at 2pm. Tickets are $20 to $22, with a $15 group rate for parties of 15 or more.

The Production Desha Crownover directs, with music direction by Michael Tyree. Crownover also directed JT's first Les Miserables in 2009. Set in 19th-century France, the show follows characters searching for justice, redemption, and belonging in a time of unrest. An ASL-interpreted performance is offered on Saturday, August 8 at 2pm.
