Make at Mingei

This month's Make at Mingei welcomes Mexican-Lebanese artist and educator Georgina Reskala for a community workshop at the Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park, San Diego on July 19, 2026 from 10am to 3pm. The session centers on storytelling, healing, and collective making. Participants write or sew fears, wishes, and memories onto fabric, and Reskala guides them in stitching those individual voices into one large collaborative textile.

Admission The workshop is free. Registration is required, and public registration opens July 14.
