This month's Make at Mingei welcomes Studio Ocho Cuartos for a hands-on metalsmithing workshop at Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park, San Diego on August 23, 2026 from 10am to 3pm. Participants learn basic metal-forming techniques and transform copper into a small hand-shaped bowl to take home.
Cost and Registration The workshop is free. Mingei members get early registration by email on August 17, and general registration opens August 18.
