
House of Lebanon Lawn Program
The House of Lebanon holds its annual Lawn Program on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its cottage in Balboa Park. The free event features Lebanese folk dance, music, poetry, and food, and it is part of the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages.
Food and Entertainment
Folk dance groups perform in regional costumes, and local artists present traditional song, music, and poetry. The kitchen serves Lebanese meza, including hummus, tabouli, spinach pies, kibbeh, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, moussaka, kafta, and chicken and lamb shawarma. Pastries include baklawa, sfouf, and namoura, with Arabic lemonade and jalab to drink.
The program is a free way for San Diego residents to sample Lebanese food and culture in Balboa Park.
